The UEFA experts conducting the investigation recommend imposing a penalty on the "Malaga" club for delayed payment of wages.
According to reports, the team owned by Qatari investors owes a total of about 9 million euros to the players.
Nevertheless, "Malaga" has made its way to the Champions League quarterfinals, adding at least 25 million euros to their account for this achievement. It is still unclear whether the payment of these bonuses will be temporarily suspended until previous commitments are fulfilled.
UEFA is currently investigating nine Champions League and Europa League clubs for delayed payments of wages, taxes to the state or transfer fees.
