Dunga dismissed from the position of coach of the Brazil national team

52-year-old football specialist Dunga's career in the Brazilian national team is over. The Brazilian Football Confederation confirmed that the contract with the strategist has been terminated.

The Brazil national team led by the specialist failed to advance from the group stage in this summer's Copa America championship. In their last match, after a scandalous goal from Peru, they suffered a defeat and ended up in just third place in the group.

After Dunga's dismissal, Brazil wasted no time in announcing that the new national team coach will be Tite. The 55-year-old coach previously trained the Corinthians club.

Dunga took over the reins of the Brazilian national team in 2014, after Luiz Felipe Scolari also lost his job following an unsuccessful performance in the World Cup.

This is not the first time Dunga has led the Brazilian national team. Earlier in his coaching career, Dunga coached the Brazilians from 2006-2010.
