On Saturday, a tragedy shook Italian football - during the "Serie B" match against "Pescara," the life of "Livorno" team's defender Piermario Morosini was extinguished. The 25-year-old footballer's heart stopped.

In the 31st minute of the game, the former member of the Italian youth national team (up to 21 years old) began to have seizures, he collapsed on the grass, but the referee did not notice it at first because the ball was on the other side of the field.

The medics quickly performed CPR, and then he was urgently taken to the hospital. However, despite the efforts of the medics, they could not save the life of the unconscious and unresponsive young man - he was already brought to the hospital dead.

Due to this tragedy, all weekend matches organized by the Italian football federation were canceled. Experts plan to investigate the circumstances of the death, as the ambulance was hindered from entering the stadium by another vehicle.
