The new Real Madrid coach Rafael Benitez emotionally marked his return to the royal club.
The specialist who previously worked with the youth team of the Spanish capital's club was presented to the media on Wednesday as the team's manager.
"I hope we will win trophies and demonstrate good gameplay. This is the most difficult part when you have to speak but don't know what to say.
"This day is very exciting. I promise to work with dedication and hope to justify the trust shown to me," - said the 55-year-old Spaniard, tears flashing in his eyes.
"Real" president Florentino Perez also said his word:
"The requirements of the Madrid club have always been very high and the new coach will make us stronger, looking at the goals we dream about.
Rafa simply breathes football and "Real". The coach works with passion and is known for impeccable match preparations and number of victories."
