The new coach of the Argentine national team, Edgardo Bauza, has planned his first trip.
The seasoned specialist will head to the city of Barcelona in an attempt to convince the country's biggest football star Lionel Messi to return to the national team.
Remember, the decision that shocked the football world to forget the national team was announced by the 29-year-old forward after the "Copa America" final, where Chile was painfully defeated.
It is reported that L. Messi is willing to talk to Bauza and then start thinking about whether it is worth delighting Argentine fans with his goals again.
"I won't try to change his mind, it will be just a conversation about football. I will introduce him to my playing philosophy. Former footballers understand how painful it is to lose in a final," Bauza said before the trip.
In the Argentine national team, L. Messi has played 113 matches and scored 55 goals. He triumphed in the Olympic final in 2008, but lost three crucial "Copa America" matches and stumbled once in the World Cup final.
