E. Burdzilauskas moved to the 'Kauno Žalgiris' club

On January 13, the football club "Kauno Žalgiris," which will begin preparations for the 2025 season, reached an agreement with its third offseason newcomer. The new addition is 21-year-old Ernestas Burdzilauskas.

The player from Marijampolė has represented Marijampolė's "Sūduva" since 2020, with which he competed for the LFF Supercup in 2022.

In 2024, E. Burdzilauskas was one of the key players for "Sūduva"—in 36 matches in the "TOPsport A League," he scored 2 goals and provided 4 assists.

The midfielder was also called up to the Lithuanian U-21 national team last year.

A little earlier, "Kauno Žalgiris" also struck deals with Amine Benchaibu and Tomas Švedkauskas.
