Eva Carneiro wants Jose Mourinho to publicly apologize for the events that led to her departure from London's Chelsea.
The former club doctor is currently suing for unfair dismissal and appeared in court in Croydon today.
If both parties fail to reach an agreement, the case will be heard in open hearings.
"We do not expect a decision to be made today," Carneiro's lawyer Mary O'Rourke told ITV. "Both sides are very far apart financially. Also, we want Mr. Mourinho to publicly apologize."
The former "Blues" coach openly criticized the doctor's work and called her naive when she ran onto the pitch to assist Eden Hazard in the first game of the season against Swansea.
Immediately after that, she lost the opportunity to work with the first team, and Chelsea finally parted ways with her in September.
