Paris Saint-Germain's forward Edinson Cavani denies press reports that he may leave the French champions this summer.
Recently, the Uruguayan national team member has been criticized for his not very successful performances. PSG paid almost 65 million euros for him in 2013, but so far, the striker has not justified this amount.
"I have always said that I am happy in Paris," said E. Cavani. "It is a club that is growing and implementing its project. I feel happy to be part of this project."
"I want to give as much as possible to the club. I hope to regain my best athletic form and regain the president's trust, who had so much hope in me. It is very gratifying that the trust is still felt from the coach and teammates," said the Uruguayan.
This season, with 15 goals scored in 28 matches, E. Cavani has recently been linked with Manchester United and Arsenal in London.
