Reports in the press constantly claim that the Uruguayan is unhappy that he has to play on the wing due to Ibra's position in attack.
However, Cavani states that he does not understand these rumors.
„We are compact. He can attract several defenders to him and create space for others. He makes his teammates better. It's very similar to Luis Suarez's situation in the Uruguayan national team. The only difference is the tactics,“ the forward told Le Parisien.
„Our relationship is the same as with other teammates. We represent the same team and get along well.“
Cavani also believes that Ibra deserves to win the „Ballon d'Or“.
