29-year-old Uruguayan national team forward Edinson Cavani's father stated that his son does not feel happy in the Paris Saint-Germain club and would like to see him in another team.
PSG acquired E. Cavani in the summer of 2013 for a sum of 64.5 million euros, but the Uruguayan failed to become the main striker of the team. The footballer's father believes that as long as Zlatan Ibrahimović plays in the Paris team, his son will not be able to fully unleash his potential.
"PSG bought him as a central forward, but Edi is forced to play on the side. He is not satisfied with this position," said the father of the former Napoli player.
"He does not have the opportunity to help the team as he would like. As long as PSG has Ibrahimović, Edi cannot play in the center. It is obvious that in the center he would be much more effective and could make better use of the passes from his teammates," continued the Uruguayan.
"I would like to see my son playing for clubs like Real Madrid, Manchester United, or Juventus," added E. Cavani's father.
The player himself scored 70 goals in 127 matches during his time at PSG.
