After losing 1:4 in the first leg, the Italians were only encouraged by coach Eusebio Di Francesco, who spoke about attempting to create a miracle in the match's build-up.
And it happened - the dominant "Roma" defeated Lionel Messi's side 3:0 and advanced to the semifinals.
Using a tactical setup of 3-4-2-1 on the pitch, coach E. Di Francesco said:
