London's "Tottenham" official website has announced that they have reached an agreement with defensive midfielder Eric Dier for a new contract. It is reported that the 22-year-old English national team footballer will remain with the "Spurs" at least until 2021. This season is E. Dier's third in the English Premier League. In 2003, the Englishman moved to Portugal with his parents and started attending the Lisbon "Sporting" football academy in the same year. E. Dier's paths separated with "Sporting" in 2014 when he was bought by "Spurs" for 4 million pounds. Dier, who can play both as a defender and defensive midfielder, became an important player for the Tottenham team from the very first season. Last season, the Englishman played 51 games and scored four goals. It is worth mentioning that recently Christian Eriksen also signed a new contract with Tottenham.
