On Friday, the first victory in the European Championship E group was achieved by Sweden, who defeated the Slovaks with a minimal result of 1:0. In the first half, both teams demonstrated cautious football and did not pose a significant threat to the opponent's goal. The Swedes took the initiative in the second half and started to create danger for the Slovakian goal, but had to wait until the 77th minute for the first goal. It was then that a penalty kick was awarded to the Slovaks, which Emil Forsberg confidently converted. At the end of the match, the Slovaks tried to attack the opponents' goal, but the Swedes once again kept their goal safe and took a huge step towards the knockout stage.
