Eden Hazard revealed that he had the opportunity to return to France and wear Paris Saint-Germain's jersey.
This summer, leaving London's Chelsea and taking off to Real Madrid, the Belgian started his career in the French league, so he knows very well what it means to play against PSG.
However, as the footballer himself revealed, he did not accept PSG's offer due to his unwillingness to return to Ligue 1.
"PSG wanted to acquire me," Eden Hazard told "L'Equipe" newspaper.
"I didn't want to return to Ligue 1, especially after playing for Lille before. So, in any case, I would answer 'no' to them.
I knew that with this club I would have good chances to win the Champions League, but that was not my main plan. If I decide to return to France, it will only be for the Lille club," the Belgian promised loyalty to his former team.
