"Eden Hazard would hand over the 'Ballon d'Or' award to a representative from Liverpool club.
In an interview with 'Le Parisien' newspaper, the captain of the Belgian national team added that Sadio Mane would be the undisputed favorite if he had won the African Cup of Nations.
"I would give the award to a Liverpool player," said E. Hazard. "Mane, Salah, van Dijk - any player from this trio deserves it."
"If Sadio had won the African Cup of Nations, I think there would be no doubts about the winner. It would be a real pleasure to see him win this award."
"Mohamed is my friend, so I wouldn't object if he won. The triumph of either of these two players would be good for both African and English football," said the Belgian.
Asked about his chances of becoming the 'Ballon d'Or' winner in the future, E. Hazard added: "Winning would be incredibly pleasing, but I'm certainly not obsessed with it."
The 'Ballon d'Or' winner will be revealed on December 2nd.
