E. Hazard does not agree with M. Sarri: "I am the leader on the field"

London's "Chelsea" last night eliminated "Tottenham" from the English league cup after a penalty shootout.

Before the match, "aristocrats" coach Maurizio Sarri said that the team's star, Eden Hazard, still lacks leadership qualities. It was the goal of the same Belgian player that allowed the match to be moved to a penalty shootout yesterday, and the player himself did not agree with the coach's thoughts after the match.

“My job on the field is to do what I do best. I am happy because I was able to do it today. I always say that on the field I am a leader,” Hazard said confidently after the victory.

When asked about the coach's statement before the match, the attacking midfielder was categorical.

“To be honest, I don't care. I just play my football and it doesn't matter what the coach says. I focus all my attention on the team and fully commit to it," he said.
