Eden Hazard officially announced last week that he has ended his football career.

Rumors about a possible end to the Belgian's career started circulating last summer when he prematurely terminated his contract with Real Madrid. However, until last week, E. Hazard had not made a final decision.

E. Hazard had received several offers from Saudi Arabia, but in an interview with “L'Avenir,” he revealed that he simply did not want to play just for money.

“I always said that I would end my career when I no longer enjoyed being on the field.

I didn't want to go play somewhere just for money. I no longer enjoyed training and practically didn't play for the past few seasons. The decision was quite simple,” said E. Hazard.
