Londono "Chelsea" leader Eden Hazard revealed that he feels better playing on the edge of the field.
This season, the Belgian has had to play the role of a striker several times, but he doesn't think that's where his best qualities are revealed.
The 27-year-old footballer highlighted his performance in the UEFA Champions League match against "Barcelona", where it was really difficult for him to be the team's main striker.
"Honestly, I like the role of a false number nine," Hazard said.
"However, in matches against strong opponents like 'Barcelona', it is difficult. Then you don't get many balls. That night, I probably touched 25 balls, and 15 of them were heading towards my goal."
"It doesn't really use my qualities. I won several aerial duels against Gerard Pique and that's not bad."
"On the other hand, if I had to choose, I prefer to play like the last 10 minutes - on the edge of the field. However, the final word belongs to the coach."
"I feel comfortable on the edge of the field, that's my place."
Recently, Hazard has been increasingly linked to a possible move to Real Madrid, so playing not in his favorite position could further fuel these rumors.
