E. Hazard signs a new contract with "Chelsea"

One of the leaders of London's Chelsea club, Eden Hazard, has signed a new five-and-a-half-year contract with the "Blues" team.

Rumors about the extension of the 24-year-old footballer's contract have been circulating since December, but an agreement has only now been reached.

The star of the Belgian national team has recently been linked with Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid. According to the new contract, the winger will stay in London at least until the summer of 2020.

"I am very happy to have signed a new contract with Chelsea," Hazard officially told the website. "I arrived here in 2012 and have never felt bad, as the club has always treated me very well."

This season, Hazard played 36 matches for Chelsea and scored 14 goals.
