This season, Edan Hazard, who cannot find his place in London's "Chelsea" club, admitted that he is fascinated by the words of Madrid's "Real" coach Zinedine Zidane about him.
The 25-year-old footballer has been part of the "Blues" team since 2012, but he has been interested in the "Real" as a forward since 2010. Hazard himself has mentioned more than once that one day he could move to the royal club, and with Z. Zidane becoming the head coach of this team, the possibilities only grew.
"It's always nice to hear when a player from your childhood speaks about you. I am grateful to Zidane for that," said the Belgian. "I know a lot about him as a player, but I don't know him as a coach yet. Anyway, his debut at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium was great."
When asked if he would like to work with the same coach one day, E. Hazard replied: "Of course. Yes!"
"But I still have a contract with Chelsea and I feel great. Because of Zidane, I have spent many hours in front of the TV and the internet. I chatted and had lunch with him, but I just want to repeat that I feel good in London," the player concluded.
E. Hazard has a contract with Chelsea until 2020.
