E. Hazard still trying to get back on track: "I know there is a lot expected of me"

Eden Hazard, speaking at a press conference ahead of the upcoming UEFA Champions League group stage matches, was already forced to defend his playing style.

Madrid's "Real" will face the well-known "Club Brugge" from Belgium on Tuesday evening.

For Hazard himself, adapting to the new team has been quite difficult so far – the Belgian had to miss the first three matches due to injury, and after recovering, he has not yet shown what is expected of him in Madrid – goals and assists.

"I feel great. I understand that people expect a lot from me, as I do myself. I know I can play better. Criticism has always been and will be, but I understand that I have to work to achieve big goals in this club.

"I couldn't start due to injury, but now I am ready 100%," said the former leader of the "Chelsea" team.

"People expect a lot from me for a simple reason – I have already proven that I can play at the highest level. They saw what I did playing in France, Belgium, and the "Chelsea" club, so I understand that I need to improve my game so that fans can be proud of me.

"As I said on the day I was presented in this stadium, I am not yet a 'Galactico.' To become one, I have to prove my worth on the field. The players who wore the number 7 before had to do the same. I trust myself, so I have no doubts," added Hazard.
