In the English "Premier" League on Monday, another two matches of the 33rd round were played.
At the "Stamford Bridge" stadium in London, "Chelsea" hosted the "West Ham" team. Led by Eden Hazard, the "Blues" triumphed with a score of 2-0 and temporarily rose to third place.
Maurizio Sarri's players started the match confidently - they controlled the course of the game and did not allow their opponents to create dangerous moments.
In the 24th minute, Eden Hazard lifted the whole stadium from his seat - the Belgian started a breakthrough into the penalty area, deceived at least four opponents, and after leaving them behind he sent the ball into Fabianski's goal.
In the second half, "West Ham" looked much more solid and dangerous, however, there were no clear-cut chances at Kepa's goal.
Failing to score "Hammers", the final point at the very end of the match after Ross Barkley's pass was put by the match hero E. Hazard.
"Chelsea" achieved their third consecutive victory. "West Ham" with a second defeat in a row remains in 11th place.
