Eden Hazard, demonstrating a wonderful athletic form this season, calmed the Chelsea fans in London by saying that he will not leave this winter.
The 27-year-old winger is once again being actively linked to Real Madrid in Spain. The player himself recently fueled even more speculation about his move to Spain in a given interview - he claimed that he has been dreaming about playing at Real for his whole life.
Currently at the Belgian national team camp, E. Hazard faced questions about his future at a press conference.
When asked if there is a chance he will leave this winter, E. Hazard replied "no", but when asked if he wants to move to Spain because the players who have played there in the last ten years have won the "Ballon d'Or" award, he said: "That is probably why I want to go there."
The Spanish capital newspaper "Marca" recently wrote that there is a possibility that Real Madrid will turn to Chelsea in January, but decisive actions will be taken only after the end of the season.
Florentino Perez plans to follow the same strategy as when they lured Thibaut Courtois to the club with only one year left on his contract.
After the season, E. Hazard still has one year left on his contract, so Real Madrid believes that they may need 80-90 million euros to bring the Belgian football star to the team.
As the player himself said, if he receives a concrete offer from Real during the season, he will not hesitate to sign a new contract with Chelsea.
"That's why I want to go - maybe."
