On Wednesday evening, two more matches of the 19th round of the English Premier League were played.
Brighton hosted the London team Arsenal. Unai Emery's team will not be satisfied with the draw - the match ended in a 1-1 tie.
In the 7th minute, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored for Arsenal after a pass from Alexandre Lacazette, but the opponents equalized the score in the 35th minute with a quick attack.
As it later turned out, this was the crucial goal of the match.
Arsenal has 38 points and is 13 points behind the leaders. Brighton is in 13th place.
In the last evening match, London Chelsea fought for three points against Watford. After a fierce battle, they triumphed 2-1.
The teams exchanged goals in the added time of the first half. Initially, Eden Hazard put the visitors ahead, but a few minutes later, Roberto Pereyra equalized with a great strike.
In the second half, a penalty kick awarded to Watford was crucial. Hazard scored accurately from the penalty spot in the 58th minute.
Chelsea, with 40 points, remains in fourth place.
