One of the brightest stars of London's "Chelsea" club, Eden Hazard, does not intend to make hasty decisions about his future and will not sign a new long-term contract with the "Blues", says the footballer's father Thierry.
E. Hazard still has a contract with "Chelsea" valid until 2020, but the club's management has already offered a new contract to ensure that the player commits to the team for a long time.
However, the 26-year-old player is not ready to make such decisions, and the main reason is his desire to wear the jersey of Madrid's "Real" team.
"Eden has not signed a new contract with 'Chelsea' because he wants to have the freedom to leave if there is any interest from 'Real'," said E. Hazard's father.
"Real" is the only club where Eden sees himself playing after "Chelsea", but at the moment we have not received any contact from 'Real'," added E. Hazard's father.
This season, E. Hazard has scored eight goals and made as many assists in 26 appearances.
