25-year-old London's "Tottenham" winger Erik Lamela will not be able to continue this season on the field.
He last appeared on the field on October 25th against "Liverpool" and now the Argentinian will have to undergo surgery. The footballer will have an operation, after which rehabilitation will take about five months.
E. Lamela, who suffered a shoulder muscle injury, managed to play 14 matches and score two goals before the injury this season. The surgery for the Argentinian will take place next Saturday.
In 2013, E. Lamela, who arrived from "Roma" to "Tottenham", demonstrated excellent athletic form last season, scoring 11 goals and providing 10 assists in 44 matches.
"Tottenham" is currently in second place in the English "Premier" league and is 10 points behind London's "Chelsea".
