E. Maresca: "C. Nkunku will have a more important role at Chelsea club"

The head coach of London’s Chelsea club, Enzo Maresca, stated that Romeo Lavia will not be able to play for a while and discussed Christopher Nkunku's role in the team:

"R. Lavia is currently recovering... But there is still quite a long time before we can see him on the pitch again."

"We have been planning since December to keep C. Nkunku. That was our intention.

Of course, the Frenchman will have a bigger role. He played half an hour in the match against London’s West Ham United. I hope he gets more minutes and helps us."

27-year-old Christopher Nkunku has been playing for London’s Chelsea club since 2023 and has scored 16 goals in 44 matches.
