Before the match against "Chelsea" and "Manchester City," many were surprised by Enzo Maresca's decision regarding Raheem Sterling.

The experienced forward was not registered for the first match of the new "Premier" league season – he wasn't even on the substitute bench.

R. Sterling's camp once again made a public statement, with the main point being a desire for more clarity regarding Raheem's current situation.

With the arrival of Joao Felix and a new center forward, there may potentially be no room for both R. Sterling and Noni Madueke at "Chelsea."

The new club coach E. Maresca commented on the situation: "I want to have all 30 players in my squad, but there isn’t enough space for everyone. Because of that, some of them will have to leave the team."

After the match, former experts Micah Richards, Daniel Sturridge, and Jamie Redknapp were not impressed by R. Sterling's camp's statements.
