London's Chelsea club head coach Enzo Maresca stated that Robert Sanchez will continue to be the first-choice goalkeeper, highlighting the uniqueness of Cole Palmer:

"It is a great honor for me and I am privileged to work alongside C. Palmer. Of course, he is an exceptional player.

He loves football. When you watch most experienced footballers, they don’t seem troubled. It looks like nothing matters to them. Cole Palmer really loves this game.”
