The head coach of London’s Chelsea club, Enzo Maresca, explained why Jadon Sancho did not play in the last two matches and mentioned the team's goals for the future:

"J. Sancho missed the last couple of matches for tactical reasons. Nothing more.

The winger has been playing excellently since he joined us. Players cannot perform at the same level throughout the entire season.

He will play a lot of matches and still has to work hard.”

"The officials of the 'aristocrats' never mentioned that we need to be among the top 4 clubs in the league.

They stated that we need to build a strong team over four or five years. We work hard every day to achieve something significant.

We are trying to do the best we can.”

The London Chelsea team is currently ranked fifth in the table after nine rounds.
