The head coach of London’s Chelsea club, Enzo Maresca, compared his protégé Moisés Caicedo to other elite midfielders:

"M. Caicedo can be on the same shelf as Rodri and Declan Rice.”

"Right now, the Ecuadorian is definitely at that level. There’s no doubt about it. Unfortunately, Rodri is injured, and D. Rice is playing. But Moisés Caicedo is right beside them.”

23-year-old Moisés Caicedo scored a goal in 16 matches this season.
