After dismissing head coach Manuel Pellegrini, the leaders of the "West Ham" team hoped to keep his assistant Enzo Maresca, but were left empty-handed.
The 39-year-old Italian slammed the door and then left the club after the Chilean.
According to "Sky Sport Italia" and "La Gazzetta dello Sport," E. Maresca did not want to be David Moyes' assistant, especially since at one point the team was considering the possibility of appointing the Italian as the team's manager.
E. Maresca spent 18 months at "West Ham" team and in 2018 signed a three-year contract.
