E. Maresca: "We controlled the majority of the match"

On Sunday, London’s Chelsea suffered a defeat in the English Premier League against Liverpool.

Despite the loss, Chelsea's manager Enzo Maresca insisted that his team controlled the match and deserved at least a point.

"We don’t like to lose or drop points, but I liked the team’s performance in this match. We deserved something more because we played really well,” he said.

"We controlled most of the game and had quite a few chances.”

"I don’t think this match reflects our current situation. We prepared for this match as well as we could, and it really showed. We have to take advantage of the chances we create, but despite that, I am satisfied with my players,” Maresca told Sky Sports.
