Birmingham's "Aston Villa" and Argentina national team goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez is simply made for penalty shootouts.
The 31-year-old talent almost always saves at least a few of the opponents' attempts and enjoys the moments of victory.
In an interview with "The Telegraph," he spoke about his exceptional talent.
"From the very first steps on the football field, I have always been a good penalty saver. I think I have only lost one such shootout in my career."
I always think that I will save at least 2-3 of the opponents' shots.
When you play for 90 minutes and then a penalty shootout happens, the pressure is on a completely different level.
Of course, sometimes you need a bit of luck. Naturally, you need to work and 'read' the actions of the strikers, and sometimes everything just falls into place."
