“Real” showed confidence in Eder Militao, who has been sidelined for a long time due to injury.

The Madrid club officially announced that they have extended the contract with the Brazilian center-back. The new contract is valid until 2028, with a release clause traditionally set at 1 billion euros.

E. Militao suffered a cruciate ligament injury in the first season match against Bilbao “Athletic”. He is expected to return to the lineup by the end of the season. 

The 26-year-old center-back should also recover in time for the "Copa America" tournament in the summer.
