Eddie Nketiah after a great end of the season decided to stay at Arsenal club. Arsenal officially announced today that they have extended the contract with Eddie Nketiah for another five years - until 2027. At the end of the season, the 23-year-old Englishman became a free agent and planned to leave the club where he spent 9 years, but a good end to the season changed both sides' plans. The Gunners wanted to keep E. Nketiah, and the striker trusted the team's vision and that he will continue to get stable minutes on the field. E. Nketiah played 27 games this season, out of which 13 were in the starting lineup, scored 10 goals, and made 1 assist. Crystal Palace also showed strong interest in the striker. Meanwhile, Arsenal should soon officially announce the acquisition of Fabio Vieira. Active negotiations are also taking place with representatives of Gabriel Jesus, Lisandro Martinez, and Youri Tielemans.
