Recently called up for the first time to the England national football team, Emile Smith Rowe is demonstrating impressive form at Arsenal. However, the youngster revealed that he could have ended up in Chelsea and Tottenham teams. Chelsea almost snatched the youngster from the Gunners, as they had not offered him a contract yet. Ultimately, the Aristocrats chose to pass on acquiring him. "I trained there for about three or four weeks, but at that time I was very small, very skinny, and was constantly pushed off the ball." Tottenham also wanted to sign him, but he decided to stay with his beloved Gunners, despite his father being a Spurs fan. "Tottenham wanted me when I was 15 or 16, but I am an Arsenal fan and they didn't interest me. I joined Arsenal when I was 10 and was determined to leave my mark on the club."
