“Manchester United” confidently stepped into the final of the English League Cup on Wednesday.
“Red Devils” comfortably dealt with “Nottingham Forest” with an overall score of 5:0 in the series.
After the victory, United's coach Erik ten Hag emphasized that reaching the final is not worth anything if they don't win.
“It's nice that we managed to reach the final, but only victory will matter there. Reaching the final is not an achievement.”
We want to win this trophy, but before that we have to do our job in other fronts. Now we will focus all our attention on the upcoming “Premier League” matches.
“Reaching the final is good, but without a victory there, it's not a significant achievement,” - E. ten Hag spoke to BBC.
