On this evening, there will be a match between London's "Chelsea" club and "Manchester United". The head coach of the latter team, Erik ten Hag, revealed that Mason Mount wanted to move to the "Red Devils" team, despite several offers from other clubs to extend his contract:
"Chelsea" offered M. Mount a new contract, as they really wanted to keep him in their team.
I was told that "Chelsea" wanted to extend his contract with him and a new offer was prepared several times... But he really wanted to move to "Man United".
Mason Mount wanted to take this step and join us, we are pleased with that; I am convinced that he will be an incredibly important player for us."
