“Manchester United” on Thursday suffered a hard-to-swallow defeat in the English Premier League match against London’s “Chelsea”.
“The Red Devils” were leading 3-2 until the 100th minute of the match, but then let in two quick goals by Cole Palmer and came away with no points.
After the match, “Man Utd” coach Erik ten Hag did not hide his disappointment with the result of the game, in which, according to the Dutchman, his team dominated.
“We started the match poorly, made a lot of individual mistakes. However, I felt that we were in control of the game and eventually came back into it.
We had a great opportunity to win by playing very good football, and we also scored great goals. However, we were unable to finish the match properly in extra time.
In those moments, we must do our job better and make better decisions. Our reaction was inappropriate.
We dominated the game, especially with Garnacho and Antony playing on the flanks. But we need to better control the game and not give the ball away to the opponents in key moments,” E. ten Hag spoke to Sky Sports.
