E. Valverde is not worried about L. Suarez's goal drought

"Barcelona" on Tuesday played a 0:0 draw with the "Lyon" team in the first UEFA Champions League quarter-final match and has good chances to advance to the next stage of the tournament.

This was the fifth consecutive match in which the main striker of the Catalan team, Luis Suarez, did not score. Even more sad is the Uruguayan's statistics in the Champions League in away matches, where he last scored in September 2015.

However, "Barca" coach Ernesto Valverde insists that he is not concerned about the striker's statistics and is satisfied with Suarez's performance.

"I would be worried if he didn't have opportunities. This is the most important thing for a striker. Suarez always has opportunities, and if not, he creates them for his teammates and is a real headache for opponents. In any case, he contributes to the chances we create.

"In football, sometimes you just need luck," - said E. Valverde after the match in France.

This season, L. Suarez scored 16 goals in 33 matches, but has still not scored in the Champions League."
