Ernesto Valverde reiterated that Barcelona is not planning to part ways with Arturo Vidal.
The Chilean national team defender, who rarely makes it into the starting lineup, has been linked with a move to another team for some time. However, as E. Valverde stated at a press conference, the Catalans are not even considering such a scenario.
"We are not thinking about him leaving for another team," said the coach. "He is with us and that is indisputable."
Arturo Vidal's name is mostly associated with Inter Milan, who have been pursuing the Chilean for more than one season.
"We are not focused on whether other clubs are interested in our players. Vidal plays for our team and he will be in the Super Cup tournament," added E. Valverde.
