E. Veliulis will play for the 'Panevėžys' club in the seventh season.

"Ernestas Veliulis, one of the symbols of the Panevėžys football club, will continue to play for the team. The 32-year-old from Panevėžys and the club have extended their collaboration for another year.

Last season was the most productive for E. Veliulis in the ranks of the team from the capital of Aukštaitija. In the "TOPsport A league", the midfielder scored 4 goals and provided as many assists in 26 matches; however, since the beginning of October, the player has not competed due to an injury.

The Panevėžys native stood out in international competitions. In four qualifying matches for the Champions League, he scored two goals – both times impressively sending the ball into the net against Helsinki's HJK. E. Veliulis also played two matches in the qualifying stages of the Europa League and the Conference League, once in the LFF Cup and the Super Cup.

The player has been defending the honor of his hometown team since 2019 and will begin his seventh consecutive season with them.

The "Panevėžys" team, preparing for the 2025 season, will hold its first training session on January 6.
