London's "Arsenal" striker Emmanuel Adebayor has stated that his nearest goal is to win the title of the best African footballer within three years.
"I am becoming better and better," said the 23-year-old footballer. "I still have plenty of time to win the award for the best African footballer. Once I was second, once I took third place, so I believe that I can win this trophy in the next 2-3 years."
Having moved from "Monaco" to "Arsenal" in January 2006 for £7 million, the Togo striker has already become one of the key players in his team.
"Playing for Arsenal, I have learned a lot. It would be great to become one of the best footballers in the world. This is what I strive for with my hard work," said E. Adebayor. "Consistency is very important to me. In every game, I prove that I am a good player."
In 22 English league matches, "Arsenal" striker scored 6 goals.
