EC Qualifiers: Ukraine Crushes Serbia, Spain Has No Trouble with the Faroe Islands

On Friday, the national team entered the fight in the qualification matches for the 2020 European Championship.

In Group B, where Lithuania is also playing, Ukraine unexpectedly secured an easy victory, defeating the Serbian team 5-0 at home.

Viktor Tsygankov put the hosts ahead in the 26th minute, and a few minutes later the same player doubled the Ukrainian lead.

At the start of the second half, the third goal for the Ukrainian team was scored by Evgen Konoplyanka, and Roman Yaremchuk extended the Serbians' defeat in the 59th minute.

Evgen Konoplyanka sealed the final score in the 75th minute of the match.

In Group F, the Spanish team secured an easy victory, defeating the Faroe Islands footballers 4-1 away.

Sergio Ramos put the Spaniards ahead in the 6th minute, and Jesus Navas increased the lead in the 19th minute.

Klaemint Olsen managed to reduce the deficit for the Faroe Islands in the 30th minute, but just four minutes later Teitur Gestsson restored the two-goal advantage for the Spaniards, redirecting the ball into his own net.

Jose Gaya scored the fourth goal for Spain in the 71st minute.
