EC selection: Croatia qualifies for European Championship

The Croatian national team, having survived a tough European Championship qualification, finally achieved their goal.

In the final qualifying round, the World Cup winners defeated Armenia 1-0 and secured their place in the European Championship.

The Croatians' victory was determined by Ante Budimir's goal in the 43rd minute.

However, in this match, the Croatians could even lose and still qualify for the European Championship finals, as Wales played favorably against Turkey in the other stadium.

In the 7th minute, Wales took the lead through Neco Williams. Turkey equalized in the 70th minute with a penalty goal scored by Yusuf Yazici. The latter finished first in the qualifying group.

Wales will try to qualify for the European Championship through the Nations League playoffs.
