Perhaps the most intriguing match was played in Germany, where the national team fought against the Polish team. In the first half, the hosts were leading 2:0 (T. Muller 12', M. Gotze 19'), but R. Lewandowski managed to reduce the deficit.
In the 82nd minute, M. Gotze scored his second goal and secured a 3:1 victory for the team coached by J. Low.
