EC selection: Serbia qualifies for the European Championship

The national teams of Lithuania's group, Serbia and Bulgaria, played a productive 2-2 draw.

The hosts were taken ahead by Milos Veljkovic in the 17th minute.

However, the Bulgarians surged ahead in the second half when Georgi Rusev and Kiril Despodov scored. But the visitors failed to hold onto the lead, as Srdjan Babic equalized in the 82nd minute.

The draw resulted in Serbia qualifying for the European Football Championship.

In the other matches in this group, Hungary defeated Montenegro 3-1.
