The Lithuanian national team and Dynamo Kiev goalkeeper, who is still disqualified from three international matches, has been participating in a trial of the Moscow region club for a week.

The 22-year-old former Panevezys "Ekranas" goalkeeper has spent the last three years in Ukraine, but failed to establish himself in the country's most famous team, "Dynamo" - the Lithuanian mostly represented the team's reserves, and has played only five matches for the main squad in the league.

Displeased with his situation, the player has already stated once that if he does not get opportunities to play, he will seek a new club. And that's what happened - about a week ago he arrived at "Saturn", which finished 11th in the Russian "Premier" league last season, where Lithuania's national team defender Rolandas Dziaukstas also plays.

E.Cesnauskis joined the "Saturn" team at a training camp in the Dutch city of Apeldoorn. On Sunday, the Moscow region club played a friendly match here against Donetsk's "Metalurg", ending in a 1-1 draw. R. Dziaukstas played the entire match, while E. Cesnauskis replaced the scorer of the first goal, Aleksey Yeremenko, during the break and played the entire second half.

According to the "Saturn" website, whether the club will sign a contract with E. Cesnauskis will depend on how he performs in training and friendly matches. Interestingly, the Lithuanian arrived for the trial on the same day a new head coach was introduced - the Slovak Vladimír Weiss, who unexpectedly replaced Vladimir Shevchuk, who stepped down from his position just before the last preseason camp.
