Ederson: I Was Lazy, That's Why I Became a Goalkeeper

"Man City" goalkeeper Ederson is deservedly considered one of the best footballers in his position in the "Premier" league championship.

The "Citizens" are leading the championship, having conceded only 7 goals in 12 matches.

This is also the merit of the 24-year-old Brazilian, who revealed his first career steps to "Sky Sports".

"When I started playing football, I played as a left-back. However, I was too lazy to constantly chase attacking opponents.

I asked the coach to let me guard the goal and thus I became a goalkeeper.

I immediately liked this role, worked hard, and eventually signed my first professional contract," said Ederson.

"I am honored that last summer I had the opportunity to play for "Man City" - Josep Guardiola is an amazing coach, and the team is unparalleled."
